Usually on my list of fashionistas, this girl has fallen from my good graces with this monster of an outfit, and I don't just mean the Gucci-inspired shoulder pads (her version: top picture). It is... too plain, yet too much at the same time. The texture of the ankle boots clash with the soft colouring of the jacket and ultra-high waisted shorts, and whilst Anna Sui is the ultimate designer in most cases, it definitely needs a belt: 
that kind of item must not be worn on it's own. Not enough embellishment, but too many designers (I never thought I'd say that). The truth is, you need just one designer piece, or, at most, two, because too many can create an unappealing look. Instead, mix pieces with staples, to create a casual, yet classy look (my version: bottom picture).
